Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the PurgePix app for iPhone and the purgepix.com website handle information. PurgePix is published by Daedalus TCG LLC ("we", "us").
Your photos
- PurgePix asks for access to your photo library so it can show your photos and delete the ones you choose. It uses Apple's Photos framework on your device.
- Your photos are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We have no servers that receive your photos or information about them.
- Photos are deleted only after you tap Delete in the app and confirm the system prompt. Deleted photos move to the Recently Deleted album, where iOS keeps them for up to 30 days before removing them permanently.
- If you use iCloud Photos, deleting a photo also removes it from your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. If your library uses "Optimize iPhone Storage", iOS may download full-size copies from iCloud so PurgePix can show them. That transfer happens between your device and Apple.
Information stored on your device
To make the app work, PurgePix saves a small amount of information on your iPhone:
- The list of photos you've queued for deletion (stored as Apple photo identifiers, not the photos themselves)
- Your cleanup streak, longest streak, and the dates needed to calculate them
- Totals for storage freed, photos deleted, and cleanup sessions
- How many photos you've deleted today, for the free plan's daily limit
- Whether you've seen the swipe tutorial
This information stays on your device. Like other app settings, it may be included in your device backups. It is removed when you delete the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase information is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
To manage PurgePix Unlimited, the app uses RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat receives:
- A random, anonymous app user ID that RevenueCat creates. It isn't tied to your name, email, or Apple Account details.
- Your App Store purchase and subscription history for PurgePix, such as which plan you bought, the price, dates, and your App Store country.
- Basic technical information, such as the app version and iOS version.
RevenueCat uses this to confirm your subscription and to give us aggregate sales reports. It never receives your photos. RevenueCat's handling of this information is covered by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy. To ask us to delete your subscription records, email us at the address below.
No tracking or advertising
PurgePix contains no advertising or tracking SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. The only third-party SDK in the app is RevenueCat, used for subscriptions as described above.
This website
purgepix.com does not use cookies, analytics, or third-party scripts or fonts. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP address and browser type in order to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we delete support emails when they are no longer needed.
Children
PurgePix is not directed to children under 13, and because it collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect data from children.
Your choices
You can change or revoke PurgePix's photo access at any time in Settings › Apps › PurgePix › Photos. You can remove all information the app stores by deleting the app.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
